Good with the Bad

Call me a terrible person, why not, others have but I have one item on my list that really makes me go hmmmmm....

School, as a kid my parents may have darkend the school corridor a few times, no more than 5 times max!

Nowadays the parents are constantly at the school, dropping off, picking up, helping out, fundraising, you name it the parents are always there for one reason or another. Those of us who aren't at the school as much still find ourselves there enough times throughout the school year.

During those times we are interacting with the other mom's & dads of the children from our childs classroom or grade.

Now I have to say I've met some pretty cool mom's & dad's and I've been some humdingers! Oh you heard me humdingers is the best phrase I can come up with, I could call them twitheads but that just doesn't have the same affect. I find those are the ones who most of all try to talk me more, all the while I am conversing with another mom who is way more fun.

Please! Stop, your kid isn't very nice, no they aren't that good of friends from what my kid says, leave me alone! Sure a playdate, anytime, just call me, we are usually busy but I'll do my best....NOT!

Why is it nowadays when our kids go to school so do we?

Ta-Not

Oh the thought of sitting and wrapping gift after gift.....the daunting task that is fallen onto the woman of the house. Spare me please!

I hated the gift buying this year. People are becoming more and more difficult to buy for?

Plus the number of people who are still buying items for themselves!!!! WTF? Stop it!

My mother told me on the weekend that she bought herself and beautiful pair of red pajama's and can't seem to find matching red slippers, I said "well I hope you don't" and she got all offended because she wasn't quick enough to realize I bought her pretty silk candy striped PJ's with fluffly, pretty red slippers!!!!!! Duh people!

Can you say annoying?

I am the kind of gift giver who wants the show stoppers, I want to buy something for you that will make you say "oh my" and talk about for days.......that isn't happening this year. My MoJo completely failed me this season. Although I did not buy anyone junk or crap I just don't have that little kid/elf like feeling I usually get when I buy gifts for people, I am that person in the aisle with a big grin on my face thinking "oh this person is gonna LOVE what I bought them".....nope totally not this year. I don't have that loving feeling anymore :(

Maybe I need to put the tree up, although that isn't slated until next weekend? Who the hell has time anyway?

Our first party is on Friday night, maybe that is what I need to feel the Christmas Cheer.

Although I'm still not wrapping all those gifts by myself!!! I refuse.

My DD was a little upset last night when I said here wrap these gifts (for friends), gave her the paper, tape & tags and said 'have at r'......she cut the paper too short, couldn't hold it and tape at the same time and she cried and flipped and flopped around and realized "whoa mom is not having any of this", I just kept reading my book! She figured it out. Eventually :)

I'm Not!

I think I'm a bear and preparing for hybernation?

Lots of people would mistake me for a bear but honestly I think this winter I may really be one?

I am so tired, I am drug right out, knock down tired.

I went to bed last night at 9:30, out by 9:45 and still my eyelids feel like they have weights in them.

I "think" it has something to do with my new allergy shots I am receiving, the shit head Dr. has been giving me shots for almost 2 years and we finally discovered (because I asked) the cat allergin was NOT included in it! WTF? Awe man!

So I now have to go for the next 22 weeks to get caught up to my other vaccine, yes I said 22 weeks, pray to god I don't get sick or screw this up because that is a disaster, trust me, been there done that!

I am on week #3 of the weekly shots and I am so tired and wore out, my body is fighting so hard.

I am going to the gym, eating better than ever and taking extra vitamins to keep going, my god this might kill me.

Update

The good news is that I am still alive, I didn't realize it has been so long since I have blogged. Whoa!

Life has been flying by, I can hardly believe we are headed straight into December. What a whirlwind month this has been.

People just get crazier, the more hope you hold out that they will come to their senses....they don't.

Work has been a struggle, thank god I get paid to attend.

Life has been hard to manage lately but that isn't just my DD's fault it is mine as well.

I have dropped a few items from my schedule and that will help.

For those of you who know that my DD is now playing Hockey your probably thinking I'm nuts for adding another activity but to be completely honest I don't think I am, this is something close to home, it will keep her invovled in her community and it is a "active" activity.

I feel our children do not receive enough physical activity and my goal has to been put her in things that work her body. Without her noticing of course :-)

With the new dance level she is in she comes out of the studio drenched in sweat and her legs hurt, that is fantastic! I love it. Her little red cheeks and that big smile because she has so much fun. Yeah!

Horses - all that poop she shovels and the carrying and lifting of water and the riding is working her muscles and she doesn't even realize it because she is having so much fun! Yeah!

and now Hockey too, yep work her little body up, make her heart pump, something we should all have more of.

So yeah call me crazy but that is my update and I'll climb down off my soapbox and practice what I preach, its time to go to the gym for moi and work my body over!

Deep

I just had a very lengthy chat with my oldest brother. All I can do is sit back and say - "whoa dude!"

That poor bugger!

I feel so bad for him, he never thought life would be like this for him. All he wants is someone to love him. Since his wife passed away he has been on the eternal search for happiness - in all of the wrong places I might add! Geesh!

I can see all kinds of wrongs but who am I to judge, I love him to pieces and I wouldn't want him any different, he wouldn't be my brother if he was.

His recent conquest is not working out so well, which given the circumstances I predicted from the get go but hey! Not my call. Whatever, been down this road with him a lot.

He told me he was the "Leave it to Beaver kind of guy, who wants the house, kids and the white picket fence", I laughed out loud and said "um no I'm sorry you are so NOT that person, even when you were with T you weren't that guy, you are a "fast" lane kind of guy". LOL He agreed with me :)

Our convo got pretty deep, for me being the younger of two he commented on who would have expected it was ME giving HIM advice all these years? Yeah tell me about it, him being 17 years my senior I certainly did not anticipate that.

I told him a relationship is never easy and never perfect all you can look for is someone you can live with / tolerate. I know "they" talk about soul mates all the time and how wonderful it is to find them but honestly......lets be honest with ourselves....do you believe there is one person in this world you would love, love, love EVERYTHING about them? Really?

Now I know I am pessimistic, totally dude but come on?

Lets be real, nothing is perfect. I do not know 1 relationship where 1 or both partners *LOVE* everything about their partner. It isn't possible? Is it?

All we can do is hope we find someone who finds value in us and us and in them, who cares enough to want to look after us and us them, someone who has no interest in other companions - only us, someone who feels that sharing a life together would (for the most part) work out well?

Am I right? It is what I tell myself? What do you say?

Jerks!

People! OMG! People!

They piss me off.

Does anybody not think, can you say shit for brains?

There are people I'd like to smack for being so darn stupid and rude and inconsiderate.

If only you knew how stupid you look to everyone else acting like a little kid, how unprofessional of you. Grow the hell up and put on your big boy pants and deal with it buddy, you can't your cake and eat it too.

Now stomp off and go cry in the corner!
