Ewe! Ewe! Ewe!

Look what fell out yesterday (Saturday), this was taken about 1 hour before the tooth came out, its been hanging for weeks, we've all had a kick at the can but yesterday she wouldn't let anyone touch it.....why? Because she said it was ready now....oh right, that makes perfect sense! I think. Dad and I couldn't even look at her, it was too gross....

We were at the hospital yesterday and many nurses offered to pull it, but nope she was not going to trust anyone.

Her grammy offered her $5 on the spot Thursday night to grab it and pull it herself but she didn't do it......grammy gave her the $5 last night.....awe grammy.

Mama said

There would be days like this but one day runs into another, I swear to god if I pick those people up one more night and hear a bad story I am going to scream and scream and scream.

I am so sick and tired of hearing bad things and negative things and just sour puss things that I could rip my face off and bust my ear drums.

Why is it they say you have to take the bad with the good? Why does it appear to be more bad than good? I know I'm not alone here?

Maybe its not, if I look on the bright side there are many reasons we are better off than some. Although there are days I'd trade my life in for another.

If only we could trade our lives in just for 24 hours (like the movies) we'd have a whole new perspective.

Why is it we (as a society) look for the negative first, what happened to see'ing the good in everyone? I always roll my eyes at those super perky types that "appear" to be 100% always happy but you know what? For one day, just 24 hours I'd love to try it.

There is someone I know that I repeatedly meet on the road who is always smiling, and I know life for this person is not hunky dory but this individual always, always smiles and is very happy.

Where is my happy pill today?

I'm gonna cry

My neck! My neck!

I rolled over this morning to turn off the alarm and just about cried, I did cry out in pain, my next hurts, both sides, down my arm to my elbows.

Sharp shooting pain!

I can't move to the right or left, I can't move quickly, I basically can't move at all.

I brushed my teeth with my magic bag on my neck this morning.

My DD put my socks on. OMG! The pain.

I have taken some Advil but it is so painful.

What a bummer! This is no way to start hump day! *groan*

Dream

I had a terrible dream last night...so scary!

I dreamt I left all of my luggage at home, I have no idea about DD or DH but mine was not with me, I realized once I landed that I left it at home, didn't bring it with me, I had nothing.

I totally flipped out and ran around the airport looking for clothes and they were all ugly. I was crying....

What a terrible dream!

How much longer Papa Smurf?

Not long now...only 2 weeks and we'll be in sunny Florida. I am very nervous and anxious.

I lost one of my lists that I made...can you believe it? I have packed up a lot of items so far but I will have to unpack them to ensure I do not forget anything. I like to double and triple check everything.

I weighed our luggage this morning and I was amazed that we are way off our 50lbs count off. My luggage with my clothing for the week and some toiletries are only weighing in at 26 lbs. That is awesome.

We have one large peice of luggage that is full of our other stuff, most of it will not come home with us, so that leaves us with one whole empty suitcase to bring home our new stuff. I am thrilled and that peice which I thought would weigh the most is only 32 lbs....horray!

I'm off to jump onto my treadmill, I need to condition myself for the long days.......its almost time.

March is Madness

I have had the week from hell at work. I am so happy it is Friday. My office has been a revolving door of requests and demands. Basically a typical day but on a much higher scale.

This week has wiped me out mentally and physically. I'm sure I've killed my share of tree's at the printer this week, thank goodness for 2-sided printing.

The Auditor came this week so I spent 2 days with him, then another 2 days preparing hard copies for his review. Luckily I am a very good tracker and everything was on the up and up and he commented how well everything was organized on my end......unfortunately for some others that is not the case. Guess they'll have to deal with that demon.

Home has been busy with revising my packing list, trying on clothes to make sure they are comfy enough, ensuring we have everything we need. I have a very short list now. Tomorrow is 2 weeks until we leave and I am feeling very anxious.

I do not enjoy flying, it makes me excited, anxious and queezy all at the same time. Luckily my doc has prescibed small doese of Atavan to keep me on an even keel. Yeah I snorted when I typed that.......I know what your thinking.....

I am buying myself a new pair of croc flip flops today, I have to replace the ones I've had for 4-5 years, they broke at the end of last summer, I wore them all the time. I know I will not be able to wear these a lot on my trip due to the 10K's I'll likely walk every day on our trip but I hope to carry them with me and change periodically.

Florida is having some really great weather right now and I am looking forward to it. This gal needs some serious R&R.

Now I have 20 days to figure everything out. Eeek! I cannot wait. My Craft room has turned into packing central and tonight I wills start making a to pack pile of summer clothing and such.
I am so excited. Warm weather here I come!!!

The First

Remember that ol' saying "you won't be the first nor will you be the last to....."

Yeah that one, I recall saying that about a friend who pregnant years ago who constantly talked and talked about being pregnant (before I was ever pregnant or thought of it). Little did I know baby brain takes over and its all you have to talk about.

Anywho.....I always use this phrase when I'm having a medical procedure or something very common like a tooth pulled, flying, driving.....etc..

Well I have to be honest and say I think I must be the FIRST person to ever have allergy shots! OMG!

I am my doctors first ever patient to have them so when I ask questions they wrinkle their nose up and say "I dont' know", when I inquire to the pharmacists about percriptions they wrinkle their nose up and say "um not sure about that".

Do I feel confident? Not at all.....

I was in to see my doctor today for my shot and I was talking about how I am a terrible flyer, I hate flying, it freaks me out. He suggested Atavan. I said "is it safe with my allergy shots?".

Keep in mind when I signed on for these I had to sign 11 sheets of paper vowing to do everything humanly possible to follow the rules of allergy shots and certain meds (lots) were listed that I cannot consume......so I tend to ask this question......

He says "hmmmm I'm not sure but when you fill it as the pharmacy", I say "well the pharamacists aren't always schooled on allergy shots", he says "it will be fine, I'm almost sure of it, don't worry"......hee hee um yeah don't worry I'll pop one of these puppies into my mouth just before we load onto the plane and I'll stop the entire airport in its tracks as I lie in the terminal convulsing, they'll do a traceotomy (sp? cut my throat) on me so I can breath and voila - total Grey's Anatomy show....perfect!

Nope not gonna do it.

So I called the Allergist office and the very, highly educated about Allergy Shots - my trusty friend - is going to call me back, (left a message), she is awesome, if I have questions she quickly knows the anwers and always says "don't hesitate to call if your not sure".

Awesome!

So now I won't have to worry about dying on my trip - awesome dude! That rocks!

"Final" Send off Arrangments

Have you ever thought what your funeral might be like? Who will come? What will people say? All good that is?

I have been having this nagging feeling in the back of my head that mine will be totally *phucked* up and utter chaos and nothing like I would have wanted.

why? Well the fact that nobody really knows me all that well or at least I don't think they do? Not even my hubby could make decisions with what I would like or want.

For instance: the Wake

Where do you want to rest for the 3 days or less of visitiation? Me, do NOT, do NOT put me in the funeral home and leave me there in the dark. My personal preference would be to brought back to my home for those days in the living room. Yes you heard me, bring my casket into the living room and have people come to my home. I don't want some stuffy funeral home that stinks of dead people. I want to be around my things. Or at the very least a big open church in F'ton but absolutely NOT a funeral home!

Flowers?

I want roses, roses and more roses - any color, every color...I want the flowers that my husband never gave me while I was alive. I know its a dig at him but its true I love flowers and I want to be surrounded in them when I die.

Music?

I know I am now catholic but I haven't always been and nor is my side of the family so my funeral may not be very traditional but I do want a catholic funeral but I do not want the regular church music, that is where my grass roots come out.

I want the following songs...

Yesterday - Beatles
The Dance - Garth Brooks
Let me Help you say Good-bye - Patty Loveless

go ahead and laugh at me but those are the songs "I" want...its my party (I mean funeral) !!!

Scripture Readings - yep (haven't decided what I want there yet) There are some really good ones.

I know this sounds very morbid but I am trusting you blog readers that if I croak you will ensure my wants get passed onto the right people...right?

Now honestly did any of this suprise you? Or did you really know this is what I would have wanted?

Ah Saturday!

I love Satruday's, although I never sleep in. I have the full day to do as I choose, well not really but I like to think I do. I can Scrapbook, although I really don't have time for that either.

I can drink all the coffee I want, but 1-2 cups is all I ever have time for.

I like to be lazy and stay in my PJ's, yeah that has happened once since January.

Today is my day to be by myself, I am headed into Freddy Beach where I will get my hair cut and buy myself a new pair of sandals...fingers crossed that I can.

I'm also going tanning.....my saving grace.

Happy Saturday All!

Cell Phone Smell Rones....

I've been researching something very cool. Disposeable cell phones, techinically they aren't "disposeable" but due to their cost they are.

For roughly $10 - $20 you can purchase a phone in the USA, opt for pay as you go phone cards, minimum purchase of $20 cards and off you go with roughly 200 minutes, no roaming charges are applied and international calls welcomed.

If I were to take my cell phone and use it in the USA, the cost would be astronomical! From Florida you can pay roaming charges on top of roaming charges on top of roaming charges depending on cell phone tower providers. I found on a forum that one man from Toronto with a Rogers phone made an 8 minute call for the low, low cost of $42.

I know, jaw dropper.

I need to call home when we arrive and DD will want to call with updates during the week, also if something were to happen (god forbid) I'd want to know (need to know) so for the low price of $30 - $40 I can have a phone that will allow me to do that. I can even buy a card that will allow me to text. I can drop quick notes to friends to say all is good.

How great is that?

Now I don't know for sure, for sure how reliable this is, I have a few e-mails to companies but if all goes well I can have one waiting for me in Bangor. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I hate the weather

I know I really did not have to spell that out for you, anyone living in this climate is feeling the effects of it. I mean really -20, is that necessary for March, I don't like in January and the really cold weather lasted almost the entire month of January, hello? What happened to global warming???????

I wake up on the wrong side of the bed when the radio announcer says "-25 with a high of -9" WTF? I am in a very bad mood immediately.......

I hate wearing my winter clothes, boots and coats, I am ready to burn my coat, I am so tired of wearing it, I am so bulky and heavy with it on that I just hate, hate, hate it.

When is our short, small summer coming because this weather sucks big time!!!!

On a lighter note, I feel better today, still not 100% I'll talk to my doctor today - again.....I hope he understands that my breathing (receiving oxygen on a regular basis) is as important to him as it is to me? Here's hoping.

Bouncing Back

Well after last night of napping on the couch and going to bed super early. I feel 110% better.

What a relief I was afraid I was coming down with another virus - I still might be but this chick ain't going down without a fight.

I started tanning again and have become addicted, I could go every day, although I'm trying no to. What a difference the Vitamin D makes for my outlook, ah yes I did not go yesterday......can you tell?

Only 12 more days before I tell my DD about our vacation plans, I haven't announced them here yet (officially) but we have a trip of a lifetime planned for April to celebrate all of our birthdays.

So much fun.

I have never been

so completely and utterly bored as I am today.

Do not get me wrong, there is plenty of work, but I could care less, I am tired and just going through the motions of getting the job done.

I don't care, I don't care, I don't care.

What would I rather be doing? Heck! I don't know - anything but this!

I think I'll skip out early to beat the traffic home in this freezing rain. What will I do when I get home....oh I don't know, eat a quick supper and sleep on the couch?

I am dog, dog, dog tired, I think I'm fighting some sort of virus again and its winning - totally winning and driving me nuts. My eyes are so heavy right now that I'm fighting not to lay my head down on my desk and conk out.

How sad is that?

I hit some sites to try to perk me up but I so don't care that I was hoping blogging would help but nope not doing it....I hate this weather........Its terrible and painful.

Wah! Wah! Wah! Make it go away......
