In These Dreams....

Wow! I slept so well last night, the alarm brought me clear.

The night before I laid awake for over an hour from 3am - 4am because I was having a dream I could not shake.

I am sure people would laugh had they seen me laying on my back every few minutes I'd raise my head and shake it trying to erase what was behind my eye lids. (picture my head as an etch-a-sketch)

It was the strangest dream I have ever had...well maybe not ever but it wouldn't end.

It was about my husband cheating on me and me catching him in the act. That wasn't the weird part, the strangest thing was each time I went back into the dream I finished with a different ending, it was like I was playing out the best option in my head.

What the hell was that?

I had some pretty good endings....my final one was I took his pants with me that had car/house keys, wallet (no banking connections) and well no pants.....best plan of all. Oh this is after I grabbed his package and yanked until I heard cracking and screaming.......

Weird dream to say the least...but now I know what I'd do.

Mondays

I will be so glad when dance is finished for my daughter, only a few more weeks, the big show was yesterday and it was fabulous. I have to say that with these last few classes I could care less, now that the show is over...I just don't care....I'm so done with it for now.

Although my daughter is not, she loves dance. Next year she enters hard shoe and is estatic over that. I am too but I'm ready for the break.

I have lots of work to do but I could care less about doing it.....

I want to be at home (by myself) working on my layouts and drinking coffee. Mind you I have a new book I have started and would like to get further in that too.

So much to do and so little time.

My weekend flew by and I was only home long enough to sleep with the dance show and its rehersals.....so not fair.

Is Monday over yet?

As Morbid as it may sound.....

I have no idea why I've been so morbid but damn I can make a joke out of anything!

I have made some final decisions about my end of life show.

Yes I said show.

I have decided that I want the funeral home to wait or promise to not to fill me up with too much embalming fluid becuase I plan to be wearing a single digit size dress. Yes I'll be buying a size 0 dress - hey its the only time that is ever going to happen.

Now for the dress....I want it to be silvery and sparkly off the shoulders preferably - basically a blingy cocktail dress. Something that comes around my neck. I plan to go out in style baby!

Now the kicker (no pun intended) I want a full open casket to show off my shoes...yes I want RED stilletto's on my feet to show off my legs. Its the only time in my life I'll be able to wear the darn things and not have my feet hurt (or at least know it hurts).

Come on now, you have to picture it. Now there is one stipulation, if anyone gives me my 80's hairdo back I'll be pissed.

Don't picutre that please!

The Nursing Home

So I've got a little discussion going amongst a few of us about what it will be like when we all go into Nursing Homes.

Here are just a few thoughts...

We'll still be able to entertain ourselves over absolutely nothing, but we won't get the foolish looks anymore (hopefully)

We'll still be loud when we get there

We'll still be arguing and making fun of one another (I'll still be giving the finger to Nick)

I'll have to keep reminding Nick to turn off her oxygen before she lights her smoke

I can envision Nick and I getting our wheel chairs stuck together and fighting over that, then we'd be simease twins - yikes!

Our kids will come and visit us occasionally - we'll have to be on our best behaviour

Jeanette will have her nose stuck in a book and rolling her eyes

We'll be having wheel chair races

Depends will make life easier (for all those laughing spells)

We'll still be up late giggling to each other

I hope by then Dr. Scholls makes a bone colored stilletto

What are the odds that a 2nd group of Golden Girls have been discovered? I'm in shock!

Our wheelchairs will be blinged up ('cept Jay's untill she falls asleep from her meds)!

Art class will be much more interesting

We'll have decided to not pass on our Scrapbooks to our kids because we didn't have the heart to let them go, we'll be sure to will them to the kids. (right?)

We'll still be taking boob pictures when someone leaves their camera unattended

We'll never let Deanna's picture die and the fact she asked what the title should be..........

I'll be making crank calls to Cougar J, and she'll still be picking up the phone! ROFL

Jeanette will be complaining to the kitchen staff that they aren't using enough spices

Heck she'll still be selling Epicure!

Nick will try to rally the rest of the seniors into a pyramid money making scheme and we'll all get rich

Scare

I had a scare this morning at 5:30, my SIL called to say MIL had to go by ambulance.

I rushed over to check and help out and her arms and legs were tingling and she couldn't raise her head, at midnight she had crawled to the bathroom and had to lay on the floor to rest.

Why she waited 4.5 more hours before saying anything I'll never know. She was upset that the ambulance had its siren on and she felt absolutely terrible.

I was frightened myself knowing she has very high blood pressure and the symptoms she was showing.....

She is now safely on her way home and the only issue they found was that her potassium was very low. I am surprised potassium could cause so much trouble but I am very glad that is all there was to find.

A very scary start to the day.

We're Back!!!

Yep we are back and I am kaput! So tired, but I had so much fun, I ate so much good food and the thought of unpacking has me scared.....

Where do I start?

Our flight was very easy and great. We chose to have the Magical Express deliver our luggage (to my dismay) but I was delighted to find our luggage had arrived in under 2 hours.

We went to Chef Mickey our first night at the Contemporary Resort, so we got to try to monorail out.....super cool. Chef Mickey food was ok but not our fav compared to the others.

Monday morning we went for a dip in the pool (just B and I) and a duck....lots of fun.

Then off to Downtown Disney for the Bippity Boppity Boutique....B even got chosen to open the rest of the store. She curtsied (sp?) and said "the store is now open". So cute

Then off to Epcot for our lunch with the Princess', we got lucky and met 5 at one meal, they say only 4 will be there but we had 5. The food was ok but it wasn't the food we were there for.

Tuesday was chilly we went to Animal Kingdom, saw Fesitival of the Lion King - wow!!! If you go to Disney you MUST, MUST, MUST see this, it was amazing....we all loved it. We hit the Safrari which was cool, Tusker House for lunch which we thought was so worth waiting for, it was buffet and the food was hot and very good. We received advanced seating for Nemo the Musical by going to Tusker House and it was well worth it, another fantastic show. Expedition Everest was a maybe for my 2 thrill seekers but the little one chickened out and is sorry she missed out on it......next time maybe?

Tuesday evening we swung over the Fort Wilderness Lodge for the Mickey's Backyard BBQ with free alcohol, well it ain't a ho down without booze and by this point we needed it, what a fun time, lots of characters, live band and MC's are on the dance floor, all the kids went nuts, we sat close enough that B could ho down while we sat down and enjoyed BBQ ribs, chicken, corn bread (love corn bread), and tons of other food........oh yeah corn on the cob too! so delish.

Wednesday AM we hit the Magic Kingdom at 7am, they hit Tormorrowland Speedway and Stitches Great Esacpe ride, I was waiting for the Laugh In Floor with Mike Wazouski - which was totally worth it. So funny. We rushed off to breakfast at the Polynesian Resort for Ohana's Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch (our best breakfast ever), so yummy and good. The juice they served was pineapple juice with OJ and guava (even hubby liked it - figure that one).

We really branched out on our meals I must say.....I made them both vow to try new things and they did.

WednesdayPM had us at the WDW Speedway for the Richard Petty Experience. During the Drivers Meeting they announced that the family members who were over 16 got a break in the price to do a ride along with a professional driver, the cost to do it was $109, our deal was $59 so I jumped on it. DH was shocked when I said I'd do it, I regretted agreeing to it for the first little bit, I was scared....but by turn 2 of the first lap I was loving it, what a feeling, what a sound what an experience...thrill of a lifetime. I went much fast than DH did. They only let him drive about 130-140 mph, I was going 165-170 mph.....it was awesome!

Wednesday was an early night for us, we were in bed by 10pm and conked out!

Thursday AM we were off to Donalds Safari Breakfast at Tusker House that was so good and very worth it. We left Animal Kingdom to hit Hollywood Studios after that, now that park was a fan fav for us.

Having Pre-Ordered the Photo Pass was so worth it, everytime we saw a photographer we asked them to take our photo so we have some really great group shots in front of many great backdrops at Disney.

Thursday evening was Fantasmic, this show was so great and it takes your breath away with fireworks and music and lights and water........wow!

Friday we hit Epcot one more time for Test Track and a few other attractions, this is when we saw Turtle Talk with Crush and Nemo and Friends, two more great shows. For lunch we went to the Coral Reef where the restaurant is inside a fish tank, a big fish tank the food was amazing the scallops and mahi, mahi was deish......hubby had steak and it was very good, the dessert was a Bailey's, ganauche with Jack Daniels chocolate something or other that was so good and dreamy.

In the afternoon we hit our pool and packed up some stuff. The evening we went back to Hollywood Studios for supper at the 50's Prime Time Cafe, by this point we had eaten so much food that we didn't care to eat. But more rides and more looking around.

Saturday was Magic Kingdom day, we were there at 7am headed for some rides and grabbed a bite to eat, hubby grabbed fast passes, we were 2nd in line see Ariel. Rode Dumbo's ride and bought some Mouse ears......the end to a perfect last day, that evening we were back at Epcot at the Garden Grill having a meal with Chip & Dale. The restaurant rotates around. It was awesome.

What a great trip, minus the sore legs and tiredness. We met some amazing people from everywhere, there were tons of people from the UK.

its time! its time!

My head hurts - got a headache *groan*

Little stressed here.....I've checked and re-checked and double checked and triple checked the luggage and the list(s). Yes I said it plural list(s).

I've weighed all the luggage many times, we even decided to give ourselves a "pre-vacation weigh in"

See ya later all! I'll let Mickey know you said "hi".

I'm super Important!!!

Yes that is what I am, so much so that I'm surprised they allow me the priviledge of going on VACATION!

What jerks!

I have had many snide comments made this week about it not being a good time for me to leave, why are going, did everyone approve it, make sure you get everything done, nobody wants to do your work while your gone, take a laptop and work on your vacation - ha ha ha - all joking of course....uh huh yeah right..

So what about the co-worker who freaked out on me the other day and hasn't spoken to me since? Why because she said I was rude.....cuz I laughed and interupted her....I did? Um ok....whatever! Funny you did the same thing last year when I was ready to leave as well. Coincidence? I think not!

The person who signed off my vacation came back to say you could of picked a better time to go (laughing of course) and I said (laughing of course) "is there ever a good time", and he says (seriously) "there are better times than this".

oh yes, everyone else may come and go and be sick but why do people shit all over me when its my turn, why can't people just suck it up and be happy?

Why is that our society has become so selfish? Nah, I dont' need time off, just you do.

How stupid does that sound to you? It sounds pretty dumb to me?

I've got only hours left and then its FU baby! How dare you do this.....I've heard the nasty comments about other people going....about having to fill in for them, they just leave and don't tell anyone...um yeah, if their supervisor knows and you were informed (as a back up person) then its none of your business - your title would be manager at this point if you had any say? right?

I'm taking my vacation and when I come back I clean up the mess.

Regardless, it is what it is....a good friend told me "it will still be the same when you come, you can't change your environment"....

I can't control other people either, just me and just me is going to the happiest place on earth and they are not! nah, nah, boo boo! suckas!
